Our cookie policy and how we use them
This Cookie Policy explains how RestaurantMate uses cookies and similar browser storage on rmate.ai and in the RestaurantMate application. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. Last updated: July 30, 2026.
1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We also use similar browser technologies, such as localStorage, which keep small pieces of information on your device. Together we refer to these as “cookies” in this policy.
2. How We Use Them
RestaurantMate uses cookies almost exclusively to make the product work. We do not run third-party advertising cookies and we do not sell data collected through cookies.

3. Third-Party Services
Some features rely on third-party services that may set their own strictly necessary cookies when you use them, such as our authentication provider during sign-in or Google when you connect a Gmail account. Those services use cookies under their own policies.
4. Your Choices
- Browser controls: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and core features from working.
- Functional storage: clearing your browser storage removes preference data such as the last sign-in method hint.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: because we do not run cross-site tracking or advertising cookies, there is nothing additional to opt out of, and we treat such signals as consistent with our defaults.
5. Changes and Contact
If our use of cookies changes materially, for example if we add an analytics provider that requires consent, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent. Questions: use the contact form at rmate.ai.
